Reading Autobiography Essay

My earliest memories of myself is when I read next to my grandmother. We would cuttle right next to each other and she would read to me. I would try to read too! I wanted to prove that I would read. I would always ask my grandmother to read me Cinderella because it was my all time favorite book. I knew it so well. I would memorize the pages and say what the story was about and make her believe I could really read. I wanted to impress her. The funny thing was that I was only two years old. I don’t really remember that I did that, but my grandma always make fun of me about this story.
What I do remember was that when I began to go to school the first thing I wanted to do was to learn how to read a book. I would see the big kids reading books and I wanted to be like the big kids. When I began to really learn I just gave up because it was so hard, but my grandma pushed me hard to succeed.
My parents like traveling. They wanted a new environment for me so we left to Storm Lake, Iowa. Then I moved again and left to Miami, Florida. When I was living in Miami I read so many book. In Miami it was actually cool. All the preppy girls and cool guys would talk about the latest books that were coming out for teenagers and kids.
The book I was so obsessed with my cousin in 2005 and it was the latest coolest book yet was called Twilight and it Sagas. Everyone in Miami would talk about it, but now that it became a movie I don’t like it as much as I did before because now people rather watch the movie than read the book which the book is way better.
The sensation I have when I read a book it feel good. It opens your brain. When I’m reading a scary book I feel butterflies in my stomach and it also feels like if I was living or going through that moment. When I am read a Mystery book I keep on asking my self what is going to happen next. And Finally when I read a funny book I laugh out loud and people stare at me like if I was crazy, but people don’t really know what is going on.
What I think when I read a books is that it makes you think better, makes you understand things better, speak better, makes you have more vocabulary words in your speaking, and when you read out loud you don’t mess up a lot, but I do understand that when you read out loud you might get embarrassed and mess up when you read.

Violence Essay

I think there is violence every where. Just a simple push or yelling at someone is violence. I see it everyday and ever where at school. All the time you’re going to see student in West Adams yelling and pushing each other around. I just think it’s part of life. I’m not saying it’s a good thing, but I’m just saying that I bet that everyone has done that once in their life with out thinking about it.
The worst violence I have herd in my life was when I was listening to the news not so long ago. In Colombia they have been having a war going on the forests for years. The group of people is called “ Las Farks” They’re the people that live in the forests and kidnap people for many years, but just not any kind people. They would kidnap mostly the people that are in politics and of course they would do terrible things to them. The things that they would do is call their family and ask for money.
“ Las Farks” live in terrible condition, but they don’t care. They don’t have clean water or machine that we have in our homes. They basically live like wild animals in hut build by them think as if was a Tarzan movie.
One of the people that “ Las Farks” kepted hostage and was known very famous in Latin America and the United States of America was Ingrid Ventacur. She was one of the candidates to be elected for president of Colombia. She had many plans to change Colombia. One of the things she wanted to do was to capture the organization of “ Las Farks.” For the Farks it was a huge threat.
She was hostage for six years. The saddest thing was her family was devastated when they found out. She was married and dreamed to have a child, but she didn’t have the chance to have it with her husband..
When she was a prisoner by the Farks there were many rumor about her having a romance with one of the man that has her captive. Three years had past and after all those rumor it turn out to be true because she was pregnant. Her baby was born in the forests with no doctor. The same people that had her hostage helped her have her baby.
During that time she was not the only person hostage. There were many other too! The “Farks” would video tape them and show how in terribly condition they were in. The captor would video tape each other and asked what they wanted. No body knew who they were. They would put on face protector or masks so no know could recognized them. When the people that worked in the government got the video tape or watched it on the internet and didn’t pay attention or wouldn’t do what they were asked for the kidnappers would send body parts or the people that were hostage.
The way that Ingrid Ventacur became free was when they paid for her rescue. She was lucky that they didn’t cut her into pieces. To rescue her they send her a Colombian army helicopter, but the Farks that were surrounding the forests was not sure who they were. They thought that the Colombian army wanted to fight with them. Luckily no one was hurt. They took Ingrid safely out of the forests.
When she came to the city and she put her first step on the ground all the paparazzi were waiting for her and they were asking many question. Her family was also waiting for her and even the president was there to watching her coming. Everyone hugged her and welcomed her back. She gave her speech of freedom and she began to cry.
Now about two years had past ever since that happen. She divorce her husband and she living with her son and family, but no one knows what happen to the man in forests that got her pregnant. Everyone rumor that her husband divorce her because Ingrid got pregnant from another man.
Ingrid is thinking right now to write a book about her life and all her experiences and I don’t think she wants to become a president after what happen. She afraid what could happen to her life. The only problem now is the Farks also known as the Guerria still the organization that non stop terrorizing the people of Colombia.

Karen’s fanatic Obsession for THE BEATLES
Then when I got older I would listen to it and I would like it. I got obsessive with it that now I’m wearing them all over. I have them in T shirts, sweaters, posters, stickers, books, documentary, movies, I got The Beatles on my backpack, and I even have all the songs ever made from The Beatles down loaded in my computer.
Yeah I’m little crazy for The Beatles. I like them so much that I a did a research about them to know more about them. So I basically know about there lives. I bet if all of them would be alive I would probably stock them all. That is how much I love them.
And this what I learn about them that they’re from England, Liverpool . I fell sad for when I found out that John Lennon’s mother had him when she was a teenager , but when his father found out he left his mother pregnant. For John Lennon’s mother it was hard to take care of him because she was to young. So she gave him up to her sister Mimi. Mimi took care of him with her husband, but her husband died when John Lennon was only thirteen years old.
As a teen John was a trouble maker that he even got kicked out of high school, but he also had a better relationship with his mother. She was married and had other kids of her own in that marriage. John would go over her house and she would teach him how to play the guitar while Mimi wouldn’t approve of that. Mimi was strict and wanted John to be some better than musician. She wanted him back to back to school, but the school didn’t want him back so she tool him to an art school.
In the school of arts John met Stuart. They became best friends . They started a band named The Quarry men with other guys. In a festival John played with his band. Mimi was angry that she didn’t know about it. Paul McCartney was impressed of the band that he was wanted to join. Paul did a casting for The Quarry men. John was impressed and he joined. Then Paul wanted George Harrison to Join because he was a really good guitar player. Paul listening to it and he liked him so he also joined. So the Quarry men were only John, Stuart, Paul and George.
Their happiness wasn’t long when John’s mother was coming out from her home to go over John’s house because a huge truck was passing by and ran over her. It was the saddest moment for John until he went back to school. In his class he had met a girl name Cynthia Powell. They fell in love.
They left school and went traveling to sing at bars. They travel all over England. Stuart met a lovely women. He began to flirt with her from the stage. The guys around them got angry that after the show was over they had beat him up. That didn’t matter because in the end they still began to go out.
While Cynthia and John were engage because she was pregnant. Later on they change the band’s name to The Beatles and Stuarts girlfriend gave the idea to cut their hair like the way they had it. So everyone did. Pretty soon Stuart felt sick. The girlfriend called his family and the band member for what happen to Stuart. When the band member came it was too late because he had died.
Even though that happen they kept going on. Now they needed a new drummer and that is how they met Ringo starr. They began again to go around England to different bars. Many crazy things happen to them like they got caught playing on bars when they were to young to play. The cops came and took them to jail. They didn’t care, luckily they went to this bar name the cave where just not people came to dance, but there was a man name Brian Epstein who was a mangier.
Brian liked how they played so then he asked them to sign a contract to record a song. Gladly they said yes. They wrote songs and worked really heard and little by little they were becoming famous. When they were famous John had his son name Julian and the rest of The Beatles met girls and got married with them.
The worst mistake was that John Lennon did was that When The Beatles were so famous that John said once to the cameras that The Beatles were more famous than God. Many people got offended and burned The Beatles discs.
The Beatles could of said crazy stuff, but they also did interesting things like John came out in a movie. Then later all The Beatles came in a movie called Hard day’s night like the song’s name. Later on they made a Beatle cartoon which I have in my house in DVD. They also made a song in Spanish called “ Besame mucho.” I laugh when I herd it. They sound funny and scrappy. They should stay singing in English. The Beatles also own a store called the apple in England.
Many years had past and John met Yoko Uno in 1966 in an art show. It was love of first sight. So John left his wife and divorce her too! He left every thing for that Yoko. He stopped talking to his son Julian and because of that Paul McCartney wrote a song called “ Hey Jude.” He married her too and had two boy with her. John was so crazy for her that he wanted Yoko to join The Beatles, but The Beatles said no. They made a contracted that only The Beatles would start Four and die four and that is why The Beatles split. It was all the fault of Yoko. I HATE YOU YOKO!!!!!!
Later on John Lennon made his soloist CD and it was a hit. Yoko did too, but it sucked. Paul McCartney did too and it was a hit. George Harrison had just one song that was a hit which I love and lastly Ringo starr didn’t do anything at all.
In 1980 John Lennon got shot. People say it was a crazy guy that is still in jail, but my dad saids that he believes that the government sent some one to kill him because in most of his songs he wrote are about Revolution like the song “ give peace a chance, x mas, imagine, instant karma, and power to the people.
Later on George Harrison dies of lung cancer. He got this by smoking a lot. In 2002 they had made a tribute to him to always remember him. George was into Hindu heritage and had many Hindu friend that in his tribute they came and played a song for him with a Hindu instrument. He even had a Hindu name that his Hindu friends would call him which was “Jayaraj” and I don’t know how to pronouns.
The only two Beatles alive is Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney. I don’t know much about Ringo Starr, but I know that he went to get an award last year in December of 2008.
I know that Paul’s First wife Lisa that has been there all through The Beatles moment died and he remarried and got divorce two years ago. She was model before she got an accident and they had to amputate her leg and now she has those fake plastic legs and that is part of what I know about The Beatles and trust me I know much more,
